AVPA Winter Music Concert

The Culver City High School AVPA Music program presents its annual Winter Concert on Thursday, December 8, at 7pm at the Veterans Memorial Building (4117 Overland Blvd).

Jazz Ensemble

Chamber Singers


The Concert Band will perform Flourish for Wind Band by Ralph Vaughan Williams, along with a new holiday “mash up” entitled Christmas Bells Are Ringing.


The Jazz Ensemble will feature vocalist Isabel Parra, as well as music from 2 classical holiday favorites: A Charlie Brown Christmas and The Grinch.


The Chamber Singers will perform works including a Cuban-inspired version of the classic We Need a Little Christmas, the Hanukah song Hanerot Halalu, and a quartet of singers will perform the Pentatonix hit That’s Christmas to Me.


The Chamber Singers will also perform at both Culver City holiday events this week:

6pm (by the Culver Hotel)


Friday, Dec. 2

Veterans Memorial Building Tower Lighting

6:30pm (in front of the building by the fountain)
