Hosted in conjunction with the Culver City HS Open House & Expo, AVPA will host an informational Open House for all students interested in applying and auditioning for the program for the 2010-11 school year. Students will be able to visit, observe, and speak with current students and faculty to learn more about the program. There will two parts to the day - an afternoon session taking place during classes and rehearsals; and an evening session which takes place along with the CCHS Open House throughout the campus.
2:20-3:00 pm - CCMS and other interested students may come to the Robert Frost Auditorium to pick up information, ask questions, and speak to students and faculty about the program.
3:00-4:30 pm - Most classes will take place, during which prospective students and parents may observe.
5:30-6:15 pm - 8th Grade Parent Presentation in Robert Frost Auditorium - Information about Culver City HS, including a brief presentation about AVPA.
6:15-7:30 pm - Students and parents may tour the campus, visiting classrooms and learning about the various opportunities at Culver City HS. AVPA will be found in the following locations:
Art - Mrs. Hatanaka, Room 1
Film - Ms. Butler, Room 7
Theatre - Ms. Silver, Room 9
Music - Dr. Spano, Room 94
Dance - Information available in Robert Frost campus-side lobby
Upcoming Events:
The Spring Dance Concert, "Welcome to My World," will take place Thursday through Sunday, March 18-21 in the Robert Frost Auditorium. It's a great way to see our program in action!
Spring Musical - "Pippin" - performances April 22-May 2.
