Where to Sign Up:
As soon as we all return from Thanksgiving break an online link will be available to sign up for an audition timeslot.
When (Dates of the Auditions):
Individual Singing time slots
Location: RM 108
Thursday Dec. 11th, 2025 3:45pm - 8:45pm
*Note: There will be no 7th period theatre class on this day
Group Dance Call Back (Everyone must attend this as well)

Friday Dec. 12th, 2025 4:00pm - 5:00pm
What to Prepare for your Individual Singing/Acting Audition:
Please note:
Arrive early to your audition time. You will need to fill out some audition forms. Also let us know which song you are performing and where in the accompaniment you are starting. For example: I’m singing “Hey Little Songbird” please start at 0.33 in the accompaniment.
Make sure you have a complete and accurate list of all your conflicts in the spring. Make sure this rehearsal process is something you can commit to.
For the dance audition: wear clothes you can move in. You will be dancing barefoot. Hair must be secured away from your face.
Make sure you practice and prepare. Do not procrastinate and try to have it all memorized the night before.
Your song is your acting audition. Remember that it’s also about connecting emotionally with the piece, not just sounding “pretty” or hitting the notes. Do your character work and have intention with the words.
Make sure you read the audition instructions carefully.

◦ Please choose one of the following songs listed below.
◦ Choose a 16-32 bar section of the song to sing for us.
◦ **Do not prepare the entire song, we will cut you off, not to be rude but so that we stay on schedule.
◦ Each student has 5 minutes total for their entire audition.
◦ Make sure you are warmed up before your audition, we will also test your vocal range.
