BAND CAMP

PLEASE BRING - refillable water bottle, hat, sunscreen,

sunglasses, appropriate shoes for marching practice, music,

flip folder, lyre, instrument, and a great attitude!

August 10 - Band Leadership only (9am-noon)

August 11 - Leadership + 9th Graders (9am-noon)

August 11 - 1:30-3:30pm - All Percussion Audition (click for info)

August 12-14, 17-18 - Full Band & Color Guard (9-noon, 4-7pm)

Monday, Aug. 17 - BAND & GUARD performs for CCUSD WELCOME BACK at the Frost, 8-8:30am (call time 7:30am)

School Begins August 19 (1st Day of School Pep Rally performance)

First Friday after school practice is August 21

BAND DAY Practice - Saturday, August 29. 9am-4pm (marching and drill on the field)

FIESTA LA BALLONA - Saturday, August 29, 5:15-5:45pm (after BAND DAY practice)

We’d like to welcome our returning and new members of The PRIDE of CULVER CITY Centaur Marching Band! We look forward to an exciting year ahead – and we already appreciate each and everyone one of you for your help, dedication, and commitment to making this a spectacular and memorable year!

ZERO PERIOD CLASS – 7:20-8:15am every MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, and THURSDAY (enroll in “Marching Band”) and FRIDAYafter school + games

FRIDAYS AFTER SCHOOL– full Marching Band rehearsal for the games (game days only) – 3:35-5:00pm (home games), 3:35-4:30pm (away games).

DRUMLINE meets Tuesdays, 3:45-5pm (every week)

COLOR GUARD rehearsals includes Tuesday morning zero period

FRIDAY GAME DAYS– Dinner provided after rehearsalat 5:00pm (home games) or 4:30pm (away games);

CALL TIME (be ready to go!) is 6:15pm (home games) or 5:15pm (away games)
